Come and visit this Georgian stately home and grounds, just 2 miles from Poachers Pocket...

Steeped in 500 years of history - Pencarrow House and Gardens is situated 3 miles from Poachers Pocket. Through the gated entrance you will follow the mile long carriage way through ancient trees, huge rhododendrons and an ancient Iron Age fort, before reaching the grand house.

This Georgian mansion has been home to the same family - the Molesworth-St Aubyns since the 1500’s and has been welcoming the public since the 1970’s.

There is a sunken Italian garden, ice house, palm house, ancient Cornish cross and a grotto.

Take a guided tour of the house.

Explore the acres of manicured gardens and wild ancient woodland.

Devour a proper Cornish cream tea in the Peacock Cafe and watch the peacocks & chickens meander around the grounds.
