Our Favourite Hidden Beach...

Welcome to our favourite hidden gem of a beach, just 8 miles from Poachers Pocket along the North Coast.

The scenery is both dramatic and breathtaking!

Roughly a mile long walk along the coast path brings you to this dramatic cliff top - follow your way down to arrive at this truly magical beach.

The beach is tidal, so plan your trip wisely (the nearest beach to compare tides with is Trebarwith Strand).

If you time your visit carefully - you will be the first ones to walk on this beach at low tide, making it feel even more magical!

Perfect for surfing and bodyboarding - but please be careful of rip tides, there are no lifeguards on this beach.

Romantic top tips would be to take a BBQ with you and enjoy on the cliffs, watching the sunset with a glass of fizz and a warm blanket.

The location is a closely guarded secret and will only be revealed once you have checked in and perused the welcome guide - we like to keep our secret beaches as secret as possible!

There are no facilities on this beach so make sure you bring supplies!

Lundy Beach...

When Polzeath is full of crowds why not head to this little gem of a beach located just a few miles North of Polzeath.

A short walk from the National Trust car park - cross the road and walk down the path and bear left. Lundy Bay is best enjoyed at low tide - when the beach stretches all the way around to Great Lobbs Rock in the West and Pennywilgie Point in the East.

The beach is widely known for its collapsed sea cave known as Lundy Hole which is close to the coast path. Legend has it that as St. Menfre was combing her hair the Devil appeared in front of her and was so taken back he dug Lundy Hole.

Located 12 miles from Poachers Pocket.

There are no facilities on this beach so make sure you bring supplies.

Nearest Postcode - to the National Trust Car Park is:

PL27 6QZ

Trebarwith Strand...

Located 10 miles North of Tredethy you will find Trebarwith Strand.

The sandy beach becomes completely covered at high tide and is accessed over rocks when approched from the pretty village of Treknow down a picturesque valley.

You can walk the coast path from here to Tintagel and adore gull rock perched off the coast.

Lifeguard cover from the 19th of May until the 30th of September. There are lots of facilities here, toilets, cafe, beach shop - so if you're looking for somewhere more accessible than our favourite secret beach - this is the beach for you!

Perched above the beach you will find The Port William Pub, serving St Austell brewery Beer, and delicious food. The view is spectacular - as are the sunsets over the bay!
