Welcome to Poachers Pocket! A simply gorgeous boutique holiday cottage for couples, nestled in the North Cornish countryside. Our cosy one bedroom cottage offers guests an eclectic mix of old and new, set in a traditional stone cottage surround with a wonderfully bohemian interior decor. Perfect for romantic breaks and mini moons, as well as avid cyclists and hikers. We even have ‘his and hers’ bikes for use during your stay. A roll top bath for two and cosy woodburning fire make this an ideal romantic holiday.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with a complimentary bottle of Camel Valley Wine and welcome hamper, which will include the finest Cornish local produce including local artisanal bread, Cornish butchers sausages, bacon, Cornish milk, butter, eggs and more...! Also included is a selection of teas, a nespresso machine and complimentary coffee pods.
The cosy woodburning fire will be laid ready for you to light with enough logs to get you started. Sit back on the sumptuous velvet sofa and catch up on the latest Netflix shows on the HDTV, or sip wine and while away the hours listening to your favourite LPs on the record player. If you fancy yourself as a musician, then feel free to have a strum on the acoustic guitar.
Wind your way up the Farrow and Ball painted staircase and you will come to the bathroom, with luxurious roll top bath big enough for two. Indulge your senses with complimentary Cornish toiletries from St Kitts Herbery. After your soak, wrap up warm in the fluffy white Egyptian cotton towels and White Company robes. If baths aren’t quite your cup of tea, don’t despair – the bathroom is also equipped with an overhead rainshower.
Come and sink into the King-Size bed, adorned with luxury 400 thread count linens and layered with luxury throws and cushions. Relax and read a glossy magazine, or sit on the padded window seat and while away the hours reading a Rosamund Pilcher novel. The bedroom is equipped with USB sockets for your phones, hairdryer, fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.
If you need to relax and get away from it all, look no further than our yoga and alternative therapy sessions. We have two local practitioners, one qualified in Yoga & Reiki Healing and one qualified in Bowen Therapy. One hour sessions are held in the comfort of your room at Poachers Pocket.
