We take great care in ensuring everything is to the highest standard possible, ready for your stay. If this isn’t the case please let us know as soon as possible and we will investigate the issue and take any action necessary to resolve the issue.
Yes our property offers broadband, however, speed and service is variable due to our rural location and may not operate at the speed you are used to. Due to our location we cannot guarantee broadband will be available constantly during your stay.
We really are perfectly situated for exploring the whole of Cornwall. We have amazing walking and cycling routes on our doorstep and Bodmin Moor is just up the road offering miles upon miles of wilderness to explore. Nathan Outlaws restaurant is a must if you’re a fan of fine dining, and the local cider farm (Haywoods Cider Farm) is a short cycle ride away. Stately home Pencarrow House has beautiful grounds to wander around and a fabulous little café too. We are 8 just miles from the North Cornish coast with fabulous surfing beaches and coastal paths, such as Polzeath, Trebarwith Strand and Trevone. The Eden Project is located 30 minutes away by car and is an amazing attraction not to be missed!
We only accept babes in arms i.e. very young babies that cannot yet walk and need to be carried – children under 8 months old. Our cottage has too many hazards for babies and toddlers on the move.
We have room for a cot in the master bedroom. We can provide a travel cot on request.
Yes of course, but overnight stays are not permitted.
Yes, we accept put to two non shedding dogs for an additional fee.
We recommend that you strongly consider getting travel insurance before you stay. A good policy will cover cancellation of your booking due to reasons beyond your control. Some policies even cover adverse travel and road conditions. This is worth considering, as we cannot be held liable for reasons outside of our control that prevent you from accessing the property. We also recommend your policy covers you for personal liability claims incase of accidental damage

We require a minimum stay of 3 nights throughout the year, except for the month of August where we only accept booking of 7 nights or more.
Check in is from 4pm on day of arrival, check out is 10am on the day of departure. You can check yourselves in and out using our key safe.
Yes we are flexible with our check in days. We ask that you give us two days notice prior to your booking.
During the month of August check-in days are set to Fridays (due to our 7 night minimum policy).
We require 20% deposit from you when you book, with the remaining amount due 28 days before arrival. We will also require a £200 damage deposit from you before arrival. This is requested via bank transfer and will be refunded to you within 7 days of departure (usually within 2 days) as long as no damage has been done to the property.
Due to the Covid pandemic, we offer a flexible approach to changing your booking should you be unable to book due to Covid resitrictions. We can offer our guests a change in dates to their holiday, a full refund (if paying via bank transfer) and a full refund minus transaction fees if paying via Paypal or Stripe (which is roughly 3% of the booking total).
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance should you not be able to carry out your holiday for any other reason
Yes we have an off road parking space for one car. Parking is on your right hand side as you drive through the gates – space number 3.
